Kingston Dingy Davits

KINGSTON DAVITS are made of stainless steel that has been electropolished to provide a bright, maintenance free finish. The clean design styling makes them blend in with the stern railing. The booms are reversible, for a long extension (if the boat has a reverse transom or swim platform) or for extra height (when the transom is low). When not required, the booms can be removed by pulling a release pin.

The mounting arrangement distributes the load so that all forces are not concentrated at one point on the hull. The davit arm holder can be mounted on the rail or near the top of the transom, with the strut attached near the bottom of the transom. Since they are hinged, the mounting fits all boats, power or sail, as shown in the diagram. KINGSTON DAVITS come complete with all lines and blocks.

MOTOR LIFT fittings are an option that lets you use one of the davit arms to lift an outboard motor. The stainless fittings, with Delrin inserts, bolt over a tee or crossed section of the stern railing, and fit both 7/8 and 1 inch railings. When the arm is placed in the fittings, it is raised and free to swing. The motor can then easily be lifted and swung onboard for stowing.
